5.0 out of 5 stars You can’t go wrong with this book

It seems like each book in this series gets better. I have loved reading each story, which continued with the characters from the previous books. I thought this one got off to a slower start, but as the story developed it was great reading right up to the very end. I can’t wait to read the last book in this series. As for this story, Caroline and Ethan made a great pair. I particularly liked Ethan’s character. This story had a lot of drama, as well as action and adventure. It also showed how women who became doctors during that period of our history were treated. I recommend this book for lovers of clean historical stories. There were a few swear words, which I could have done without (that’s one of the points of a clean story), but they weren’t many and they were rarely used, and they also weren’t the really offensive words some authors choose to use. These type of words are one thing that will keep me from reading a story and the fact that this was the third book in the series I have chosen to read is an indication of the type of word and the frequency with which they were used in the story. I recommend this book, along with the first two books in this series.

5.0 out of 5 stars another excellent story from Peggy

Another great read by Peggy. This is a stand alone book but would suggest that you would also enjoy books 1 and 2 as well. Peggy always writes such great stories and plots I don't like to give away the plots in my reviews so I am not going to give away anything-just know this story has good character development as always, and that I really enjoyed how this plot rolled out, and the situations Caroline was put into many of us can relate to-letting pier pressures and a situation take over instead of really thinking hard for ourselves.
Highly recommend

I loved this story and I think Peggy Henderson has been at the top of her game once again. This is so good and I think the best so far in this series.
Caroline gets her doctors degree and now has things to think about. She gets suddenly engaged but never said yes and then she sees someone in the shadows and realized it was Trevor. He told her to go back home to visit her family. After she had dinner with her now fiance she realized that no one is going to accept her as a doctor. She wasn't sure about marrying this doctor so she wanted to talk to her sisters. So she told Trevor she wanted to go back but the two men already hated each other and her fiance insisted he go to. He was not cut out for such an adventure.
Well as you can imagine what happens during this trip back to the wilds of nowhere as her fiance kept saying, troubles abound in so many ways.
You will love this story and just to read about that takes place on this adventure you will end up loving this story and it's outcome.
I highly recommend this book and if you haven't read the first two books in this series you might want to read those first to read about Caroline's and Trevor's friendship that couldn't pull them apart as well as the other characters and scenes of the wild wilderness of the trip and area.

This book was outstanding, I love the way Peggy writes. Her stories pull you in and totally entertain you as the reader. This tender love story is an example of what love should look like. What a fantastic hero Trevor was. I found myself cheering him and Caroline on and pulling for them to finally see the truth! I really can't say enough about this book and how I loved it. I wanted it to go on and on! It was a pure pleasure to read and very hard to put down. Needless to say the dishes sat and the dusting wasn't. I enjoyed every page and could hardly wait to see what would happen next. Peggy is an amazing author I have loved all her books.

Trevor Wilder has always loved Caroline Hudson but never told her. Caroline went of to Boston to go to medical school to become a doctor.

On her graduation day Trevor showed up, was about to reveal his feelings for her but another doctor proposes to her right there at the party.

Caroline decides to go home first to visit her family. The doctor says he's going too, Trevor is upset but there's nothing he can do about it.

However while going back home quite a few things happen, the doctor pulls some rather slimy things. Caroline gets hurt, then Trevor is ambushed and left for dead.

Do they, Trevor and Caroline ever tell each other how they feel about each other? I found listening to the story riveting and had to listen to it straight through. Another excellent book in this series, one I'm sure you won't want to miss.

Please be sure to get this book and read it for yourself to find out everything that happens, it's well worth reading.

5.0 out of 5 stars The saga continues and only makes the series better!

The Wilder family took Caroline Hudson's family after they were abandoned on their way to Oregon. Trevor Wilder and Caroline are almost inseparable through the few years that they were together learning about the wilderness and medicine but then Caroline leaves for medical school out east and breaks Trevor's heart. Five years later, Caroline wants to visit her wilderness home before she makes her new life back east. Trevor is her escort, but then he also has to look out for someone else who shares Caroline's medical passion. Will there be another Wilderness bride or will the dapper doctor of Boston steal Caroline's heart?

The Wilderness Brides series continue the wonderful stories of the Wilder family! Peggy brings Caroline's story to life and on top of that she brings in cameos from two other of her series! I am loving this series and the idea that each book can be read as a stand-alone but if you read this one, you will want to grab the first two and then the Yellowstone Romance series and the Teton Romance series. Peggy is a master at connecting multiple series together and yet make each one stand on its own!

I really love the feelings that Peggy's writing evokes. While reading this book, I was reminded of a saying that I heard once, "When someone shows you their true face, believe it."

For most of the book I wanted to shake Caroline. She saw on countless occasions just who her fiance was and what he believed yet she chose to ignore all the signs and her own instincts. Fortunately for her sake and Trevor's, God had special plans.
