5.0 out of 5 starsThe best book on leadership that I have read

As one with a BBA in Management and an MBA in Human Resources Management, I can honestly say that I read MANY books in my lifetime as they pertain to leadership. Recently, Doug Stringer released his latest book, 'Leadership Awakening - Foundational Principles for Lasting Success.' It is, by far, the best leadership book available today. I highly recommend this book to anybody (regardless of your current job title or position in your company.) It is a must read for every pastor or minister in the church. To anybody seeking a political office, you need to read this. For the high school or college graduate, the wisdom found within the contents of this book will help you develop skills for a lifetime.

This is a must read for everyone, even if you aren't currently in a leadership position. This book will show you how to lead in all areas of your life. This book needs to be a staple in your book collection, you won't regret this purchase.
Leadership Awakening contains powerful principles, insight, and the depth necessary to achieve great prosperity in leadership. Thoroughly enjoyed the principles for those who desire to leave a lasting legacy and finish well in leadership. A must read for both pastors/clergy and business leaders.
I chose a five star rating because the author gave great biblical and practical insight. I believe this message was a simple profound call for leaders to get back to basics so that we might lead better in the end. This is an excellent book.

Great book on leadership in the church and in the home. God has given us leaders to guide us and show us the things of God. Leaders need to keep inspired and encouraged just like the normal christian. They get weary and fall into sin just like all others. They need to have mentors to help them along the way also. God wants us to be beacons in this world. People may treat you mean but we must keep a good attitude and forgive and pray that person. The reason we read the word daily is to wash away all the filth we are exposed to during each day. The word will wash you clean. We are to pray for our leaders and they are to pray for us. We need to pray for our president and all those in authority over us. We all need to pray and stay in the word. Take time anytime of the day to be with God. He is always there.

John C. Maxwell said, "Leadership is influence, nothing more, nothing less." As someone with a master's in Human Resource Development, I hope this book lands in the hands of all--from every high school and college graduate to CEOs across the world! It is in honest challenge to improve your leadership skills and to understand biblical leadership. In today's world, that is a need. I have studied leadership for decades and love Dr. Stringer's simplicity of truths. I have tested the wisdom in this book, and it has proven to ring true. I highly recommend it.
