I love this book!!! I can tell it is one that I will read through multiple times. Shaun T is an incredibly inspirational person. I found him through his workouts but it became clear quickly that his focus was on building mental toughness and resiliency using the physical fitness as the means. And it works! In his book, he lays out his story in detail and uses it to share the skills and techniques he's developed to become the person he is today. He uses a series of exercises to get you thinking about your life/situation. It's not necessarily about telling his readers what to do and more about getting them to think about who they want to be and defining their own path to get there.
I'd also strongly recommend listening to his podcasts (Trust and Believe is the current one and Define Your Life is also good to listen to!). He provides more motivation with the same straightforward and honest earnestness with which he wrote the book. And, of course, his workouts are amazing!! Shaun T is such a great motivator for both mental and physical fitness!
