He can't shift, but he has the senses associated with his father's kind. And he knows already that she's a witch. How this all works out is what makes this a fun read.

Charm Me is a well written short story that leads the reader through the lives of two people who are trying to build a life for themselves. But, it was when they met each other that their lives became entangled. It is a beautiful story and lives up to the title of Charm Me. The fact that it is centered around the candy heart Charm Me makes this even more enticing.

My suggestion is to grab a hot chocolate and a comfortable spot. Settle down to an entertaining read.

This is another short story in the Candy Hearts series, where each story is based around a saying on a Valentine's candy heart. This one had some paranormal elements to it, which I enjoyed. I loved Summer, an elemental witch; her guard dog; and the hero, Devlin, who has a few secrets of his own. At the end, I wished there was more to read. I wanted to find out how their lives and their children's lives (assuming they have some) turn out. Well written and enjoyable.

Summer is trying to live a normal life and not rely on her usual magical ways to protect herself which leads her to a shooting range where she meets Devlin, who owns the business. Discovering their magical and shifting powers of these two small business owners was fun and surprising. The scenery in this novella is gorgeous too.
