5.0 out of 5 stars Steve Chandler's book was a turning point for me.

As many people have, I grew up in a home with an alcoholic parent. It often left me wondering why I didn't understand how to interact well with others (in my younger years) or what it was that was keeping me stuck and afraid, when seemingly all was generally going well though in a rut (more recently).

Steve Chandler's book "Fearless" will be a constant on my shelf, with all it's highlights and dog eared pages. It goes straight to the heart in Steve's no nonsense way (love that) and helps us to see those little thoughts we've been believing all our life that may be untrue or at least not helpful and are sabotaging our success. This insight has helped me to exchange negative thoughts with more empowering ones and that has been a huge turning point for me and in my relationships.

“Courage is all any of my clients have ever wanted, too. Though they call it a million different things. Courage is always what is missing. (For example, even the solution to the time management problem is the introduction of boldness.) In all quests for success, what people really want to be is fearless. So I’ll tell you how I get them there.”

“All hopes and wishes are born of fear. They are a clinging to an imaginary “better” condition than this. Why just hope and dream? Work now. This is all you need. This gentle fearless moment right now.”

~ Steve Chandler from Fearless

Steve Chandler is a funny guy.

And, he’s brilliant.

I really like that combo. :)

We have Notes on two of his other great books: 100 Ways to Motivate Yourself + Time Warrior.

All of Steve’s books are quick-reading, wisdom-packed gems that will make you laugh as you get your wisdom on. I highly recommend them!

Fearless is packed with Big Ideas on—you guessed it!—how to eliminate fear from our lives.

Let’s have some fun taking a quick peek at a few of my favorites Big Ideas:

1. Life-Changing Gifts - Another way to look at problems.
2. Challenge Fear Thoughts - Always.
3. Focusing on the Big Get - Is a recipe for fear. Shift to giving.
4. Something Masterful - Create it!
5. Tectonic Shifts - Occur when we embrace failure.

Here’s to being fearless and giving our gifts to our families and world, my friend.

5.0 out of 5 stars POWERFUL BOOK

This is my first time reading a Steve Chandler book, and I'm becoming his fan! You may think, that having the courage to be fearless and change is one event, either you have it or you don't. But reading this book you learn that having the courage to change is a process, it takes time to create it. Through this book he teaches you how to undo misbeliefs, how to produce a shift in the way you think and feel. I like the style of this book, he shares deep thoughts, deep truths, but he knows how to communicate them in an easy way, using everyday examples and a lot of common sense.

He challenges you to put yourself and your well-being at the top of your list, otherwise you will never meet with you, because the line is too long. I learned that I was giving my most important activity (creating my life) the least attention and respect of all the things I do. This book has been a blessing in my life, is both deep and practical, he teaches you how to free yourself from sick thinking patters and that putting yourself first is a fearless decision. I highly recommend this book!!

I just enjoyed this book immensely. It was a great eye opener for me.

We get into habits and stay stuck in these habits. Steve tells you how to get out of those habits and how to create new habits that allow us to continue to grow on a daily basis. I took a lot of great stuff out of this book and have incorporated it into my new life style as a result of what I learned from this book. I'll be reading more of his books and learning everything that I can from him. I really enjoy what I learned. I hope that if you buy this book that you will too!

Well done, Steve! This book is well written and offers a fresh, rational way to reduce, if not eliminate, fear and anxiety. I found it the perfect antidote to the current depressing news and anxiety being served up every night on the news. The book is entertaining and a quick read. I wanted more and was happy to find his audiobook set  MindShift: The Ultimate Success Course  and then the best product of all: [...] Steve's new club offers a steady stream of hopefulness and good news!

4.0 out of 5 stars Good Quick Read for a Boost

This collection of reflections on the effects of letting fear derail our actions, and how we can get quickly back on track was a quick boost and an encouragement. It is not a psychological thesis, in-depth exploration of neurological pathology, it is a book of stories sharing how Steve Chandler has both been overcome by, and has overcome his fears.
