This story picks up shortly after Absolute Surrender. It's not quite a stand alone story. It follows Echo and Aethan, the same characters from Absolute Surrender. We get to see more of their love story and see how they are adjusting to Echo's new status. It's very well done and even though it focuses on the love story more than the first one, there is still plenty of action to keep the reader's attention. Echo and Aethan have already gone through the worst of things and are completely committed to each other, now they have to figure out some of the details and how things are going to work. Aethan is a protector and alpha male and Echo is a fighter. They have to find the balance that works for both of them. I loved getting to see more of them together and getting to see them happy. The chemistry is still of the charts between Echo and Aethan and the sex is explicit. We still get to see the rest of the secondary characters, which I loved. It's a complete story and I can't wait to get to see the other Guardian's stories. The characters are complex and we get some more insight into the other characters, which just makes me want their stories even more. I've already picked up the next book in the series and am very excited to get to read it.
Echo, Mine was is a a wonderful way to read more about Echo and Aethan's love story. It was a fun, enlightening and sensual addition to their story a delightful reading experience. The plot is interesting, the writing is good and the character development is ever evolving for the characters as it should be. Echo is growing in self confidence, in her gift and in her relationship with her mate. Poor Aethan is trying to overcome his fear of losing his mate, his over protectiveness and alpha male tendencies without a lot of success. lol There is also additionally insight into the lives of the other characters as well. The pacing of the story is spot on. The story is told from a 3rd person or narrative point of view which I think works for this novella and the Series. The novella isn't, IMO, a good stand alone read. The story contains a good blending of romance, action, adventure, a tiny bit of suspense, a touch of humor and some sensual love scenes. What I like about Georgia Lynn's love scenes is that they exemplify the difference between "a vivid love scene" and just a "graphic sex scene." A vivid love scene is not only descriptive, Hot, Sexy and provocative but the reader is drawn in and feels the emotions that accompany the tangible expression of physical love between 2 people. The author got this literary depiction of physical love spot on in this novella, the 1st book and the 2nd book which I just finished reading and loved Blaez journey/story even better than Echo and Aethan's. This Series contains some of the better love scenes that I've read in a while and that's saying a lot. Moreover, this paranormal romance Series is also one of the best that I've read in a while. Is it perfect or a profound literary experience? That would be a no. Nevertheless, I quite enjoyed it! I also commend the author on her reasonable pricing of the books in her Series. In all three purchases, I felt that I received more than my money's worth. I am truly looking forward to the next book or novella in this exciting new Series. Please hurry, Georgia Lynn! LOL
This was just a quick short story. I usually don't read the novellas between the books but I wanted to make sure no important info was missed. It was sweet, it was Echos bday and she's still in healing mode. Echo has a stubborn streak that drives me crazy at times and couple that with a alpha warrior and how the two of them don't kill each other, says a lot.

I loved this novella! It gives us a taste of everyday life. Aethan is treating Echo with kid gloves in the lovin’ department and she is frustrated. Echo also has a birthday coming up and Aethan needs to learn how to deal with life with a former human. There are more demons and demonii, skanky women coming on to Echo’s man, a date night and two people learning how to live together.

“Echo, Mine” is a follow up of Ms Hunter's “Absolute Surrender” and it's a great novella featuring Aethan and Echo. This story follows directly after “Absolute Surrender” and Echo is tired of Aethan treating her like a fragile china doll. This novella follows Aethan and Echo going on a date, working through their relationship issues, complete with demoniis, angst, and sizzling romance. This is a great follow up to the series. And it also includes the guardians Tyr and Blaez in it, which I love.
I highly recommend this series if you haven't started it yet.

Echo Mine is the follow up story of Absolute Surrender in The Fallen Guardian Series. Echo is a very strong heroinne, both physically and mentally. After sustaining a horrible injury, Echo is in a coma, healing for months from being shot. Her mate, Aethan, is treating her like a porcelain doll and it is getting on her last nerve. She decides to seduce him and try to get their love life rocking the sheets again. While on their date, they encounter some demonii and and end up in battle, destroying them and saving humans. This story between two souls is full of compassion and strength. A great novella that continues the saga of the Guardians.

I love this series so much and the one Hunter wrote before this one. She has a knack for creating complex and strong females. This book centered on Echo and gave us insight into her powers and her relationship with Aethan. Such great fight scenes. Read this series!!

Echo Mine was good read that kept pace with the story and didn't slow down or jump to different areas with no hits as to were the story was heading. I liked this story as it helped me get involved with the characters and kept me interested throughout the story. As you read "Echo Mine" you become involved with the characters and you feel for them and their struggles and the goals.

I really enjoyed this great ending to Echo and Aethan's story. Aethan struggles with his over protectiveness after Echo was severely injured and Echo just wants her sexy aggressive guardian back. Misunderstandings are solved and hurt feelings are mended in this very smoothly written story. After reading this novella I am hooked and can't wait to read the rest of the Fallen Guardian series.
