This installment was a waste of time. It’s a mixture of too much going on and nothing happening all at the same time. Nothing concrete happens until the last chapter and then it’s rushed through. Sure didn’t need an entire book. Anyway there’s an undercurrent of danger lurking. This entire installment moves slowly along while you wait for the ax to fall. I didn’t like Tori in this installment. I didn’t like how she flirted shamelessly with past lovers and strangers, allowing men to kiss her and would get upset at her husband Michael, if he called her on it or became jealous at her loose behavior and disregard of him. She wants her husband with her and around her and doesn’t want him to leave her. She wants him on tour with her and the band and wants everything on her terms and her rules. If Michael questions her actions she has a hissy fit. He couldn’t win. If he tried to get along with her past lovers, she thinks he’s being deceitful and hiding something. If he got mad at her for flirting, she accused him of not trusting her. And if he didn’t do anything, she thought he was pouting and being a child. This book could’ve easily been incorporated into the previous book.
After reading the first 5 books I didn't think it could get any better... oh but I was wrong. So so wrong. Tori is still going through hard times emotionally but now she's in the spot light. She didn't realize how hard things were going to be. Michael is as loyal as ever. But things get rocky when Enrique shows up along with Brett. Between the chaos of Tori's emotions, the FBI agents and the band has you guessing the whole time reading. Samantha Jacobey really knows how to capture your attention and keep you on the edge of your seat. This is an amazing series and I can't wait to read the 7th book!
Things were going so well. Tori has connected with her brother and the band. She has a husband who loves her and will do anything to help her be whole. So why can't she learn to be loved? Meanwhile rough people from her past are trying to save her and the FBI is tracking her for their own goals. Who will she decide to trust and what will she do about the conspiracy to harm those she loves. Ms. Jacobey weaves all these threads together with skill and writing that looks effortless. (I'm sure it isn't.) Please start with book one and get ready for a heck of a ride.
Tori's life seems to finally be heading in the right direction and she's feeling happy. That is when Enrique and Brett show up unexpectedly on Christmas. Tori's inner turmoil, has her second guessing herself if she made the right decision about marrying Michael. When Indelible goes to L.A. for promo and a private concert ,Tori's past comes back to haunt her as she catches up with old friends. So far Intrepid is my favorite from the Life series, I love the characters and all the action.
Can't wait for the final book. Tori is coming into her own and yet struggling with who she is. A past love bring turmoil to her world. People are starting to get hurt from her past and has the organization found her or is it something else. Tori is stronger in this book however, I still feel she is losing who she really is. She is a strong woman who shouldn't struggle to make others happy.
Love it! Samantha Jacobey continues to amaze me. She's written a character who keeps me on the edge of my seat book after book, and wondering what kind of trouble Tori will get herself into next. How can a reader not cheer for a heroine who has been through so much? I am absolutely dreading the end of this series!
