I was so excited when I saw my kindle at 6am and AMHERST where there. I can't wait, I begin to read then and there until finished.

Ripley, never siezed to amaze me. This book is the "Cherry" of the Pie. It's all action, hurt, good byes, vengeance and the best...GHOSTS, lots of them. Yeah💕.

The characters and plots are better and better they grown up in Ripley's mind and hands.

Won't stop until I finished the whole book. Ahhh.. you need to read this book and the whole Berkley Street Series.

When you found an author like Ripley's, never go back.

I support Indie authors, they make an interesting twist on writing. The Publishers Houses had to be following more of them because they're are writing incredible stories.

Fantastic entry for the last one in the series! Loved it. This is a great series and I enjoyed every single one of the books.

I'm reading another series by Mr. Ripley (Haunted Collection) and really like it, but sure miss Shane and his ghosts! I've tried several of the other writers in the "Scare" group but didn't find anything that caught my interest. I read a few samples and read synopses of others. Not interested in demon possession or shape shifters, etc., just your basic ghost -- not gory or nightmare-inducing... ;-) If anyone can suggest a writer similar to Mr. Ripley, please leave a note in the comments. Thanks!

I loved this last book of the series as well. Well written and very spooky 💀💀💀 the story with the Watchers hunting Shane down is also very intriguing! 😊 I loved the bonus scenes as well, especially the ones about samson! Talk about gruesome and spine tingling! 😱 just wished maybe some things were more wrapped up.

SPOILERS MIGHT BE AHEAD!!

Like, what will happen to the Watchers Organization itself? I feel it left it a bit hanging since in my opinion, I didn’t think that they were finally stopped and defeated once and for all. 🤔🤔

Overall, still 5 stars! Sad that this is the last book in the series. 😭

I'm one of those readers that doesn't just see the characters as words on a page, but as friends. I've watched Shane go up against unbelievable odds for 9 books now, and have worried about his survival in every one. In Amherst Burial Ground the living are as bad (almost) as the dead. But their organization has never dealt with someone like Shane before, something they may or may not live to regret. Thank you Mr. Ripley, for the way you ended the book and the series. Please don't forget about Frank. Really, who could forget about Frank?!? Those of us that view these characters, living and dead, as friends would appreciate a short update every now and then. I absolutely love this series. I already read the book in June but love listening to it more. I enjoy the characters of Shane, Frank, Carl, Marie, and even Eloise (as well as all his ghosts). In this book Frank act erratic and tries to kill all Watchers himself which lead him to Amherst Burial ground to destroy “The One” Samson, a demonic little ghost boy. I know this was to be last book but ending leads to other books involving Frank and Shane so please continue. Highly recommend this series who enjoy Ghosts.

Wow, yet another amazing story by my favorite author! I’m so sad to think that Shane is retiring and I’m just not ready to say goodbye to him and his crew yet. That being said though this book was a wonderful way to end the series and the story was amazing as usual. I’ll just keep hoping that he’ll come back for one more valiant return since I love his stories so much. I also keep hoping that he and young Tom from the haunted collection series will start working together in future novels. Seems like that would be a fun combo :)

This is another good installment from Ron Ripley and the Berkley street series. Many different underhanded organizations trying to kill Shane and Frank from destroying anymore outposts where spirits are being used for evil purposes. Will buy the next installment to find out if the world is safe from evil spirits. Recommended!
