It's a real old-fashioned mystery-romance, circa 1920's. Good to keep the mind occupied while walking or doing chores.
The book is written in long, complex sentences, so you really need to focus. There are too many characters and, having read half of the book, I still do not have any idea how the plot is going to develop. Events are at times a bit far fetched.
