4.0 out of 5 starsTrue chaos

With all the religions references you might expect semi-religious references. You would be disappointed. If anything, it's an alternate universe where devils and angels are really aliens with special abilities, but not necessarily bad or good, it's even confusing as to what side everyone is on. It's seems Thraven is definitely bad, and is trying to put all of this universe under his control for the benefit of an alternate universe. Something to do with opening a gate which our hero Queenie is trying to prevent. In the meantime there are happenings on Earth which are not good, and happenings around Kett and Kell which aren't going according to plan. With everything up in the air, we finish book 3. Might mention that the beginning of this episode is explanatory of the relationships which comes a bit fast as I'm trying to figure out who is who as my memory was rather poor between episodes.

Non-stop action and you get to find out who the bad guys are and where they're from. This was only book number 3 of 7 and I can't wait to read them all! M.R. Forbes has a very creative mind and this is the greatest example of that. What a fantastic story!

Look - the whole Chaos of the Covenant series is a great read. Characters are well developed and takes the whole "enemy of my enemy is my friend" bit farther and more realistically then most - love the incorporation of "angels and demons" into the whole alien entity bit. I'm a "Hell's Reject" member now!
This is part 3 of a series , if your a reader like me start on book 1 and binge them. Action packed with chapter ending cliff hangers that keep you turning pages. Cant help but become attached to Queenie and her rejects as their best laid plans unfold...sort of. Twists in the plot leave you wanting more. Must read the next one M.R. Forbes please hurry!
This has been a very enjoyable 3-book read. I really liked the characters and their development and the storyline was fast-paced and kept me interested throughout. Can't wait until the 4th book comes out!!!
I have now read three books in this series. It started out a bit slow but about 1/4 of the way through it gripped me. Good characters and development. Queenie and her furry friend have really grown . Plots within plots and characters changing. I would recommend this whole heartedly
