I love Jennifer Ashley's series...I skimmed thru most of the "romantic" moments here because Dimitri and Jaycee as a couple were so BORING. Dimitri's dialogue sounded like childish whining throughout the whole book and Jaycee's "conflict" over accepting the mate claim was pretentious at best. The only time it got remotely interesting was when there was a change in scenery and the two were separated from each other...but once they got back together, the stupid returned as well.
Worst part about this book was the fact it introduced two characters who both seemed to have infinitely better plot line setup going on...and most of it happened OFF SCENE. If we followed the story from THAT couple's perspective, this would have been a better story. (Sure the ending would have to change for the sake of having a happy ending but overall nothing would be lost from it!)
