Thankfully I didn't pay for the "books"...my first issue is the author calling 85-100 pages a book...buyers beware when considering buying one of these " books"....it's equal to reading someone's dairy...some of the storyline was totally unbelievable...for example, being able to enter the Pentagon carrying multiple weapons and then being allowed to keep those weapons....really?!?...and a group of non-military individuals, even highly trained Vampire Hunters would not have the skill or manpower to break in and rescue anyone...I realize it's a "story", a work of fiction but it should still be believable....there were just too many moments while reading I thought to myself...you're kidding me...did I read that correctly??? I absolutely detest the cover of this book....if I didn't know what the story was about....the cover would have made me pass this over. Lastly, the editing was atrocious....which is a real pet peeve of mine. Read it or not...it's your time.
Love & War 4 Stars ~ So far so good! Unexpected twist at the end. I can't wait to start the next one tomorrow.
Taking Talon 4 Stars ~ I love how well Jennifer wrote Chloe's character. We are reminded that she is still a teenager. Her immaturity comes out. She has been through so much sometimes we forget. Christina is even becoming likable the further we get into this. It's nice seeing the characters grow.
Vampire Apocalypse 3.5 Stars ~ I don't know what it really was about this one but I didn't care for it as much. I liked the idea behind it but Chloe seemed so much more immature in this one. Poor me, poor me. But then again as I said in a previous review, it just reminds us that she IS still young. This series has got me hooked.
Blood Warrior 5 Stars ~ I really liked this book. This one shows that it's not all sunshine and roses, people actually DO get hurt. The feelings are high in this. The brothers are still having their battle of the wills. Anthony is becoming very likeable. I can't wait to see what happens next.
Winds of Fire 4 Stars ~ This book was different, we finally got to get inside someone else's head. Drew was your main character in this one, NOT Chloe. It was a nice change. I love how Jennifer was able to show the growth of the characters in this series.
Innocence and Evil 3 Stars ~ This one wasn't horrible but I don't know that I really liked it either. Zander was pretty whiny and needy instead of the big bad Zander we have met in the other books. The description of the library and such was really nice, I could picture it all in my head. The battle in this book was done well.
I really enjoy reading about Chloe and her crew. The last couple of books in the omnibus were told by Drew's point of view and then Zander's. It was nice to get to know them a little better. A minimal amount grammatical errors remain in this published version, but not so many that it detracts from the story. The characters are growing up and expanding, but they are still far from perfect and I like that because it makes the story more realistic. The vampire hunting world Jennifer has created keeps my mind engaged and I am going to enjoy reading the rest of the series!

Jennifer has done it again! The continuation of The Vampire Hunter's Daughter, we continue to follow Chloe and her merry band of friends as they battle the undead. Chloe has grown up before our eyes through the writer's pen and she's amazing! The story is fluid. The characters develop before your very eyes as you read. And, there's never really a dull moment! Grab this set of the first 6 books pulled together in a fabulous boxed set in time for the holidays! Great for your favorite YA readers!

These stories were so sad but had a need to be believable. Drew's love for Chloe and the family love for all was amazing. Working to help the human race to be protected from the undead is something that is needed even tho the undead is not believable . It was an amazing story filled with sadness and love.
This was a fun series to read, with an interesting premise and a cast of characters the reader is sure to enjoy following. This series read more like a serial novel, rather than six individual books. Each book continued the story immediately preceding it, with book sense of any form of ending in any of the stories. The author's writing style was smooth and easy to enjoy, with very few lags in the storyline.
The story was good and the characters interesting. But - and it's a huge but - the spelling and grammar mistakes are plentiful and by the end of the sixth portion of the book I was actually glad I could stop reading. I believe if the author spends a little more time on proofreading the end result will be far superior to the three stars which is all I can give at this moment!
I like the story because it is fast paced with action, some romance thrown in and the characters seem realistic. I am glad this was sold with all six books together or I would not have purchased them because each book is only like 80 to 90 pages which does not give enough detail. At least reading this together seemed like a more complete story.
