4.0 out of 5 stars Jamie & Ryan are Meant to Be

Jamie Archer & Ryan Hunter have been together now for a couple of years. They have a solid relationship, communicate with each other, have amazing sex & are completely in love. Jamie believes that Ryan is the best thing that has ever happened to her. Though she is scared to commit to marrying Ryan because she doesn't want anything between them to change. Her insecurities leave her with a great deal of doubts. Just when Jamie begins to believe she does in fact want to marry Ryan her Mom comes to town with news that shakes her confidence. Ryan wants a life with Jamie as his wife & finally has to make her decide if she wants a life with him or without him.

This next installment in the Stark Saga does not disappoint. We find Jamie being the erratic off-center person she has always been just now her problem is committing to the man she loves. She has to work through her fears of the unknown to accept that there are no guarantees in order to move forward. I truly hope this is not the last we hear from Jamie & Ryan, they have so much wicked fun together. This book is meant for mature readers.

I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader's Copy of this book.

5.0 out of 5 stars Love Kenner style. Hot and Steamy

I love all things Stark related and this novella about Jamie and Ryan is no different. You should really read this series if you haven't for more background but if you don't want to this book is still scorching hot and full of Jamie's drama and fear of marriage.

Ryan has made no secret of the fact that he wants to marry Jamie but she thinks things are fine the way they are and why add the pressure of the piece of paper and potentially mess it up? But after a wonderful weekend with their friends and a talk with Nikki Jamie decides she read to take this major step. If she can just stop being afraid of her own shadow. So on a romantic ride back from Jackson and Sylvia's she tells him she is ready if he ever decides to ask her again. Which he doesn't right then.

But when she gets back home and her mom calls with the worst news possible it sends Jamie into a tailspin and everything she thought she knew about her parents complete and total admiration and love for one another isn't what she thought. So now what is she supposed to do?

When Ryan surprises her for Valentines Day and has planned a beautiful day and a surprise Jamie hasn't had a chance to tell him what has happened before he actually does propose and she can get the words out. Then comes the ultimatum and the moment he breaks her heart.

What will happen? Will she let her fears keep her from Ryan? Will he really throw what they have had for several years now down the drain because she hesitated?

You'll have to read to find out.

5.0 out of 5 stars KITTEN

When Jamie Archer 1st met Ryan Hunter (Chief of Security Stark) she knew he would own her heart. Ryan worshiped Jamie from the beginning even when he knew she had a past filled with countless men in and out of her bed until the time he was able to prance on his "*kitten" and claim her as his own. Their chemistry is off the charts. Ryan has proposed knowing Jamie has "broken" him and he knows he has to have her. but for Jamie she loves Ryan more than she could breathe but she struggles with "yes", she fears she is not worthy of a happily ever after.... until she is given the ultimatum and forced to.confront her own fears... Tempt Me is powerful. provocative...and is not to be missed. will she commit to the only man who owned her from the 1st moment they looked into one another's eyes? Ryan Hunter Sexy Strong & willing to compromise if that's the only way he can have his sex "kitten"..... GOD I LOVED THIS STORY.... 5 STARS (less)

5.0 out of 5 stars Another great read from J Kenner on the Stark family and friends!

I am such a fan of J. Kenner and her Stark series and all the other series that has a tie into Damien and Nikki. This novella is such a great read. I love getting to read more about Jamie and Ryan. This book gives us a look into their relationship and how far they, especially Jamie, has come in the 2+ years that they have been together. Jamie still has issues with "marriage" even though she grew up with parents that were so in love with each other that she felt like a 3rd wheel. And she has seen how wonderful marriage is for Nikki and Damien, and Sylvia and Jackson.

Jamie has to work through her fear of marriage or she might lose the love of her life, Ryan. Jamie and Ryan are perfect for each other and love each other. Their chemistry is hot! This story takes their relationship to the next level and we find out where it is headed.

I loved this book because it shows us more of what is going through Jamie and Ryan's mind and gives us more insight to their relationship. Can't wait to continue reading about all these characters - Jamie and Ryan, Nikki and Damien, and Sylvia and Jackson.

5.0 out of 5 stars Ryan hunts down his HEA with Jamie

Once I started reading this book, I just couldn't stop! I absolutely loved it! I was so happy to get this additional story about Ryan and Jamie since I really love them together. They are another great couple from this series! I also love the scenes with Damien & Nikki and Jackson & Sylvia, well, just because I love them.
I thought Ryan Hunter was hot before but now he is simply scorching and the two of them together threaten to melt my Kindle!! This is a fast hot & sexy read, but it also makes my heart so happy. I was really holding onto hope for this couple to make it even with Jamie's fears getting in the way and even though she loves him, she does not accept Ryan's proposal (which was EPIC by the way). This starts a bumpy time for them for a few days but Ryan is wonderful and patient and doesn't give up on her and gives her the time she needs come to her own conclusion of what their next step should be. Jamie lets Ryan know how she feels in her own EPIC way.
I have to say I was worried there for a bit but I trusted in the HEA that would surely come.

So kinda got mixed up with my books and this one should have been read before Anchor Me. Cause well it is a big spoiler finding something out that you didn't read oops.

Jamie and Ryan have had it good and now Jamie is wondering if the biggest thing she is afraid of and Ryan wants it badly if it will tear them apart and she thinks it will make him want her less.

Valentine's day is fast approaching and Jamie is all set on spending it on her own but Ryan has other plans for the day and they involve Jamie. But when he pushes she runs and seeking advice from her best friend Nikki she knows deep down what she wants but she is afraid and after finding out Ryan is going clubbing and doesn't invite her she can't understand how he can go from loving her to finding another woman so quickly but will Jamie be too late to say the words he wants to hear?

The book was intense, passionate and a little bit dirty. The chemistry between Ryan and Jamie was amazing.
I like Ryan as a character, he's just yum, and I liked Jamie in this one despite not being her biggest fan in the Stark Series and finding her a bit annoying in the previous novella. Fans of The Stark, and Stark International, series will be happy to catch up with beloved characters who you get a quick check in with in this one.

Felt if you removed the steamy episodes of this novella you'd have very little content left. Although it was nice to get a glimpse of the rest of the characters from previous series. I always liked Jamie and would love her story with Ryan explored in more depth, sometime, but this time I felt it a little week. However it did have some touching scenes and flowed well.

Certainly, Jamie loves the life she and Ryan currently have but fears making their relationship permanent. She fears her identity being lost in marriage. Definitely, her parents were not good role models. After waiting years for Jamie to be ready Ryan is prepared to ask the question! But will he get a positive answer?
