We read this book in a group setting over the course of several weeks and although the messages were good and the book was as described, it was hard to get through- very wordy! We really liked the concept and the stories, but they were so lengthy that sometimes it felt like we were reading a sentence's worth of information over the course of like 4 pages. Would recommend doing it with a group like we did- otherwise, you may not have the willpower to get through it!

I LOVE this book! I enjoy Squire Rushnell anyhow and have his Godwinks books, but I really enjoy this book and have read it twice since my purchase. He offers great advice, strategies, and is knowledgeable about this topic. I enjoy his humor and love for humanity. Excellent book.
This book is very inspirational. Had trouble reading it for long periods of time as each story needed to be thought about before going on to the next one. I cried a lot not sobbing but tears running down my face! Have read and shared three other books by same author-all are great!

Really excited about doing this challenge with a few friends of mine but confused how this 40 days works because it has sections for spouse and children and then friends. Can anyone help me how to do this book when I’m wanting to do it with friends only?
My husband and I are praying together and have taken the challenge of praying for 40 days. The importance of the 40 days is that that length of time brings spiritual renewal for all that are willing to commit to five minutes a day praying together. We are only on our fifth day but are expecting God to hear and heal during this time. He is faithful and true. I have recommended this book to many of our friends. If your mate won't pray that's ok as long as he/she is willing to meet with you each day. It is the unity that counts.
