I am a licensed clinical social worker who has worked with teens with anxiety for over 25 years. I found this book to fill an important niche in the area of treating teen anxiety. It is written in a way that I think teens will find refreshing and interesting. Anxiety is a bully in the lives of many teens who perhaps have not learned that it is ok to "talk back" to that bully in their brain and defy the BS it tells them on a daily and often an hourly basis.
One thing I would add and it is why I gave four stars instead of five, are a few more techniques for containing the anxiety as well as calming techniques that are so important in addressing the very real involvement of the nervous system.
