This book picks up right where Book 1 left us. The continuing saga of TJ, Kris, Gizmo, Lisa, et al. TJ goes into more detail about the characters and how they are surviving with more and more Zombies showing up to, well, annihilate them. It is a wonderfully told story and not for the faint of heart. This is a true survival story about what a person has to do in order to survive an apocalyptic event. Anyone interested in a thrill ride of epic proportions, this is just the series for you. I can hardly wait for Book 3 to be released.
Got to love these guys and gals I hate calling them charaters they are his friends and you get to know them. Y I do hate their losses but the apocalypes so.... I could not put it down keep it up TJ

Just finished book 2, and what a ride, and poor Stephen - that was plain gross. Loved the mall ( always wondered why malls are under utilized in Z books). Great addition TJ - now off to book 3.
I didn't think book 2 was going to be better then book 1 but I was wrong! This one starts right where 1 left off. The characters are very likable! I want them all to survive but they don't! I need book 3!
Another great book from TJ Weeks! We continue to follow "The Horror Squad" as they try to keep each other safe from the Rotters and survive the post-apocalyptic conditions. I love the camaraderie within the group, and laugh along with their antics. I know some probably don't understand the lack of grief expressed in certain circumstances; however, as someone who struggles with PTSD, I feel the book was realistic in terms of actions and/ or emotions (or lack thereof). I'm looking forward to following the story in the next book.
I listened to the Audible version. I highly enjoy SW Salzman's narration, and think he does an awesome job of portraying different characters, as well as keeping up a realistic, conversational cadence. His great performance adds to the story, and he is quickly becoming one of my favorite narrators.
