Krista Davis has written another great book about Wagtail, Virginia, a wonderful town that was created for and caters to people and their dogs and cats. The characters, both human and animal, are a delight (well, most of them), and the story contains a complex murder mystery to boot. I could not put this book down, and enjoyed the antics of the pets, people, and the main protagonist, Holly Miller as she strives to track down the murderer (or murderers) when she suddenly finds herself a suspect!
In interviews, Krista Davis has said that her editor calls her twisty Kristy because of all the twists and turns in her stories, and Mission Impawsible does not disappoint. It certainly kept me turning the pages! I highly recommend this book, which can be read as a standalone, but once you are introduced to Wagtail, I know you will want to read the first three books in this series.
