5.0 out of 5 starsThe Witch series gets better and better!

Having gotten book 2 free, I had to buy and go back and read #1, then #3, then #4---you get the idea. What you need to know is this: Donovan's Witch's series gets better and better!! I would be thrilled if each book was just as good as the one before....but they get BETTER. This one is a surprise in one respect, you get to "hear" the story from multiple viewpoints. At first I thought, "what?" but then settled in and enjoyed all the different views immensely. Thank you Mr. Donovan!!! please don't stop!
I really had my doubts about this series of books. Not my usual genre. However, I'm hooked! Each book in the series is better than the one before. This particular book was hard to put down and I really didn't want to see it end. If you're considering buying this, I recommend you read start with book one and work your way to this one. You can jump right in with book 4 but I think you'll be doing yourself a disservice. A+
For those who like humor, mystery, and a little bit of witchcraft, these books are for you. Ms. Donovan is an excellent author and I love reading about Detective Marcella and Lilith. Their group of close family and friends makes for a humorous book. I can't seem to put this series down. I love the price. I refuse to pay more than $5 for an e-book and Ms Donovan has her books priced just right.
Not gonna give you spoilers but I really enjoyed this book. It's written from all the different views of the characters. I liked it, you actually got the feeling of different personalities, which in my ever so humble opinion is damned hard.
Never once was I reading Lilith and thinking it was Tony, or Dom, or Carlos......Kudos Mr. D.....very nicely done
Dana Donovan does it again. He has a way of fleshing-out his characters so well that you're interested in their welfare and where they're going next. This one will keep you on the edge of your seat right till the very end.
Another excellent book from Dana Donovan! This is book 4 of the series & definitely pulls you into the lives of the main characters from the first page to the last! Can't wait to start the next book to see what happens next!
Great use of detective/CSI and Salem meet each other. I was kept interested and I did not always know the outcome which is kudos to the writer.great Series highly reccomend it fast easy reading. Also price is right,
I thoroughly enjoyed the first three books in this series, so was looking forward to reading this one. What a disappointment!! The change of narrative style, which involves each chapter being written from a different characters' perspective, is very confusing. I read on Kindle, so it is not quick & easy to flick through pages, as I could in book form. So if I had to leave a chapter in the middle, for some reason, getting back & having the story being told in the first person, left me wondering which "I" was talking!! Also, there is one protracted scene - I won't say which, for fear of spoiling other readers' enjoyment - that is over-long & rather stupid. I had to skip it, as it was really annoying. I am reluctant to buy the next book in the series, for fear of wasting my money - I don't I want to read another one written in this confusing style. Beware buyers - this one is not so good!!
One of the few places I've been in America is Salem and as this book is partly set there it brought back great memories. Lilith has been targeted by witch hunters and the team need to fight to save her!
Great read. This book is one of seven in the series and I have enjoyed them all 100 %. The author Dana Donovan was inspired by Stephen King and you can definately tell. I love Stephen King aswell and I look forward to reading more of Dana Donovan.
