I am so glad that I purchased this story. It was well-rounded and felt complete!! I liked that Bella was strong and told Alex what she wanted, as well as her honesty with not knowing how to cook, etc. Definitely do not agree with the reviewer who complained there was too much sex, if you look at her reviews for other books it’s a common complaint of hers, so don’t let that sway you from buying the book of you read the blurb and liked what you saw.
On my way to Cynthia’s author page now, to decide which of her books I’m buying next. 🥰
2.0 out of 5 starsThe Stolen Bride by Cynthia Woolfe was an OK Book.

Alex & Bella's Characters were lacking in this Story. Alex was hung up on his dead wife & even told Bella. Really sad that Bella was upset because of the news. She knew going into the marriage that She was marrying to try & be rid of her Betrothed. Yet she was bold enough to try to entice Alex to have sex with her so her Betrothed would not want her. The Author got lazy in the last few chapters, they were horribly written. To read it just about killed me. If an Author is tired & wants to ensure they write a Book, take the time to relax so the Story doesn't sound like you are throwing sentences together.

What a new twist on a story about a bride that needs to find a husband! Cynthia Woolf brought this story to life. Bella has no other option than to become a mail-order bride. Her father is so far in gambling debts, in order to get out of his debt he decided to give his daughter to an old wealthy horrible man in order to clear his debt! But don't worry, just keep reading and see how Bella can make her dreams come true! It is a really good story!
5.0 out of 5 starsAnother sweet romance laced with kidnapping and murder

Bella’s father marries her to a nasty old man to settle a gambling debt. She escapes to Hopes Crossing to marry a rancher with young twins. Will he get over his first wife? Can she learn what is needed to survive the west and make her marriage work. Can they unite to fight the men her former betrothed sent to get her back to New York. Action, adventure, and love are found in this good novel. I love this author.
5.0 out of 5 starsbut listening to the book made it seem like a new one

I just heard this book on audible. I have the hardback, which I purchased years ago, but listening to the book made it seem like a new one. The book is well written and it was easy to just sit here and listen to. The part I enjoyed most was when Alex realized how much he loved Bella, and them going home to reunite with their daughters.

Very light, fluffy romamce. Bella had an anooying way of talking, both vout loud and to herself in her mind. There was nothing Bella or Alex did to make you interested in their story and the feelings between them was never obvious as more than just physical attraction.
5.0 out of 5 starsAnother winning book from Cynthia Woolf

Once again Cynthia Woolf tells an intriguing tale. The fast pace kept me glued to my Kindle until the story was complete. I hated the evil man, cheered for the hero, and was so happy with the reunion. I won't explain because I don't want to give away the plot. Just know that this is a wonderful story.
3.0 out of 5 starsThe Stolen Bride book 3 Hope's Crossing

I enjoyed he story but I felt the 3 Books were very similar. The men all lost someone and refused to love again. Although the surrounding stories were different, you need in my opinion to also have a different story about the men.
