3.0 out of 5 starsI love the Blue Moon Bride Books

I love the Blue Moon Bride Books, unfortunately the books are going downhill not up, was not thrilled with book 4 and after reading reviews wasn't go to by book 5 but I really like the characters, so I bought the book and wish I hadn't. This book give a new meaning to SHORT STORY, more like half a book and you can buy the 2nd half next spring. The book leaves you wanting more, lacking in so many ways! Come on Anne Marsh, you can do so much better!
Now that all the pack have found their Blue Moon Brides, it is now time for Alpha Luc to re connect with his. 10 years ago Gianna went to Vegas and had the night of her life with Luc. Things from that night are a bit hazy so it is now time to look to future, but is that future with Luc or the sexy Cruz. Cruz wants to protect her from a new threat. Safety is in the Bayou, and Luc's House with a 7 nights agreement. But how so 2 Alpha wolves cope when they are both offered a week, that the Blue Moon bride likes to be protected by both of them? Can Luc prove to her that he is all she needs?
1.0 out of 5 starsI enjoyed books 1-4 but I did not enjoy book 5

The blue moon bride series is the first I have read from this author. I enjoyed books 1-4 but I did not enjoy book 5. So much so that I will not read anymore from this author. I invested my time reading the first four that I feel let down by book 5. I just did not like the Gianna character at all. Also as a note there were differences between the book and the audible narration.
2.0 out of 5 starsEnds on cliffhanger! Male leads not alpha enough.

I love to read Cajun romances and there are some nice elements to the world building here, but as much I've tried to stick with this series I'm giving up. This storyline bugged me not only for the incompleteness of the final relationship but also the whole love triangle - the heroine was too much able to call the shots and for once, I felt like the male leads were really being led by the nose - this isn't alpha behavior.
Something else that bugged me, the math being off: whether it was how old she should have been (uh no way are you 22 when you're a year out of law school) or the number of nights she was with Luc (the storyline said she spent 7 but the narration indicates 4). It's like the story needed an alpha reader who wasn't a friend of the author's and thus more likely to have a critical eye.
I liked that we got different villains in this last book, but no time was spent developing any individual character. They were just this vague amorphous threat that was easily disposed of. And I didn't like her choice at the end. But even so, it was an interesting, well written story.
I was so excited to finally read Luc's story after the first 4 Blue Moon Brides. Luc mated 10 years ago and let his bride walk get away. For 10 years he has kept an eye on her, now is the time to bring her home. This book contains the burning hotness of the last 4 books in the series, with a twist thrown in. I'm still not sure how I feel about the twist. At the end of the book I'm left wanting, which I'm sure is the authors intention to get you to buy the next book and see if Luc can get his mate to stay with him. I was left wanting in the storyline, I felt like something was missing but with the twist and another book to come I'm hoping will deliver what was lacking in this one. 3 stars for book 5 because unlike the first 4 when I finished it I didn't want to go start back to the start and read it again
Luc and Gianna's story is definitely different. A very interesting situation between him her and him. Can two alphas share one woman, or what. Can't wait to see what happens next. If you having read Anne Marsh's "Blue Moon Brides" series you have to check it out.
