Martin and Claire are looking forward to their vacation at Tonga. But a call from their boss Gavin, head of the Strange and Obscure Cases unit informs them that they will be spending a working vacation at Sandy Point. A covert CIA agent has been murdered and they need answers. Also Young women have gone missing along the Ninety-Mile Beach at a regular and alarming rate. Most of them from Sandy Point. Plus he wants a background check on Robert Herrick, a man who may be involved in drug running.
The author up fronts lets you know what is going on and who did what. Who the bad guys are, etc.. With that said it doesn’t take away from the book. You are so engrossed in what is going on you don’t realize time has passed and you’re on the last page. Yes, this book is that good! I do feel a need to put up a warning, there are plenty of graphic rape scenes through-out the book and violence. Considering who does the raping and violence it fits the books bad guys. Hence keeping it real. This is an awesome read and I recommend it to all who love a good suspense novel.
