AWESOME book, Parker is determined to save his Father by traveling back in time to keep him from being killed. I LOVE Future Bound takes on the concept of time travel and the results of tampering with events.
As with the first book in the series the pacing is awesome. I enjoy Lawson's style and the premise of this series. I was caught off guard by the change of focus at some points but quickly became accustomed to the new format. The continued devopement of both the characters and plot was worth my temporary confusion. I greatly look forward to the next installment. I received a copy of the book for my unbiased review.
This could be a really good series if not for the major plot hole in it. In this series there is very very easy time travel so there are two very easy ways to solve all the MC's problems one is to just kill the bad guy and as the MC has shown he is able and willing to kill without it affecting him to save his dad. why would he not kill the guy who ordered his dads death when it turn out badly after killing his dads hitman before said hitman can act. So there's one easy fix to everything, here is the second the main bad guy becomes evil after being put in a mental hospital thanks to the MC"S mother convincing the bad guys parents he is insane for claiming he can time travel. Here's a idea MC goes back in time and keeps bad guy from telling people about time travel and all problems are solved. I know but then we wouldn't have a story at all, but we still don't because they just ignore the obvious completely, proving that they are morons. Thus 3 stars for a writer that is very capable of writing great books.
