One of the firdt things I noticed in this book is that for the first character something is off with the formatting. New paragraphs didn't get made, but the indentation for a new paragraph is still there. Hopefully this gets fixed in an update. Something else I noticed was there was a lot of detail that didn't add to the story. There was a lot of time spent on the h's mom in the beginning, but she doesn't make another appearance. In another scene the h spent 6 paragraphs debating whether or not to answer her phone/voicemail. When she finally did, we are treated to the longest voicemail in history! I also didn't care for the heroine. She didn't really give people time to speak;she assumed she knew what everyone wanted to say. She constantly did it to the Hero. It got annoying. I read the entire book because I was interested in the story, but it later got to prettily wrapped up. Based on the final chapter, this should be the only book involving this group of people.
An interesting premise. I enjoyed the bit of mystery added to this tale of romance. Although there are some sexual encounters, looking back after reading the entire book, I have to say that those scenes do not stand out as being the bulk of the storyline, as is the case in other shifter stories. Ms. Rain tells a story of romance between lovers with common goals. 5 stars will be given when various grammar corrections are completed; especially that of correcting the name in the last chapter when the hero is referred to as Gavin! Who? His name is Kellan!
I really enjoyed reading this book, I had a hard time putting it down. I loved the characters and really enjoyed the storyline. This is a very interesting story, Emily finds out that she is a mom and that the dad is a lion shifter that she has never met. I would highly recommend this book. I can’t wait to read more from this author.
Emily goes through a kidnapping that leaves her with amnesia and almost two years later she finds out she has a baby! Read how Emily finds her babies father and then her baby! I really enjoyed reading about this society!
Great concept for the story. The characters were well written. Chemistry was animalistic. The storyline grabbed my attention and the comedic between characters kept me eager to finish and find out how they reach their HEA.
