5.0 out of 5 starsOMG This book totally wrecked me!

I loved this series! I am praying this isnt the end of Asa and Mattie's story. I'd love to see a book abt her growth and their relationships growth. I totally stumbled across this series and then I realized I had read two of her series before...so I knew I would love it! I can see the growth in Fines writing and I will be following her books more closely now. i have kindle unlimited so I read these for free..but loved them so much I bought the series and their audiobooks. <3
4.0 out of 5 starsthis is another great book by Sarah Fine

On a basic level, this is another great book by Sarah Fine. More specifically though, I think my biggest complaint is that it's not clear if there's going to be another one! I think I would actually downgrade this by a star if that was the end of the series, and upgrade it by one if there'll be more story to come. It's a complete story, and fits in with everything we've learned throughout the series, but it'd be a heck of a place to leave it. Love her writing though, and look forward to whatever comes next!
5.0 out of 5 starsThe ending was strangely satisfying

I love this cover the mostest!
This one was a real emotional read for me. I was so scared for Asa. After everything he’s been through in his life I was real worried this would break him. Although he is absent in most of this book, I think the author did a good job of just sprinkling him in to keep our interest and keep him in our minds. There are times when I almost feel like giving up on him myself, especially when he tells Mattie to do so,, but then I have to reel it in and smack myself. Because I love Asa and would never abandon him.
Mattie….whoa girl grew some balls in this book. She finally made up her mind and just stuck to her guns throughout the whole thing. The growth was so fast and so high with her it was a bit anti-climatic when I got to the end honestly. I ended up really liking the ending even though it was in no way what I thought it would be. And even though I didn’t get what I wanted out of this book, I think it stayed true to the consistency of the characters and the story line so I’m not too upset about it.
Now, I can’t really tell if there are more books because the ones I looked up seem like they are side stories or graphic novels and its a bit confusing. But I did get a sample so I can see. All in all a very satisfying ending to a wonderful series.

If you have gotten this far in the story I am sorry. I loved this series and Asa and Maddie, but this book ripped my heart out. There is no proper ending & no finish planned for the series. I know because I spent an hour after finishing Mosaic looking for answers. On her Facebook page Sarah Fine states it was not the way she wanted it to end but sometimes it is outside the author's control. There will not be a proper finish for Asa & Maddie and Asa is left in a cage of this unfinished series.
5.0 out of 5 starsWhat a wrap up for this great series

Mosaic is the third installment in the Reliquary series by Sarah Fine. The story continues the adventures of Mattie and Asa, and just as you are ready for them to connect on another level, things go awry. Magic is never predictable, and whole new twist begins when a Boss makes a strong move that changes their lives.
Things I liked about this book - it's fast paced. The action begins in chapter one and goes through the whole book. I love the writing style of Sarah Fine, which really connects you to the emotion in the story. I love that there are twists you just don't expect to see. I flat out love Mattie and Asa, and enjoy the supporting cast they bring into the story. Especially in this story, which is like a puzzle with lots of working pieces.
Things I didn't like- I'm exhausted from the pace of the story. Really, I love that it was action from page one.
So if you have enjoyed the other books in the series, you will like this one as well. More action and head shaking that you can imagine :)
5.0 out of 5 starsYOU MUST READ THE FIRST TWO BOOKS!

YOU MUST READ THE FIRST TWO BOOKS! I was sucked into this series after the second book. Sarah Fine is a spectacular author and her imagination is amazing. THE DRAMA. THE LOVE. THE ACTION. THE SUSPENSE. I have never been so on edge and curious in any series, without it getting annoying. This is the last book in the series and there are a couple things left hanging, which is why most people have knocked stars. I just finished this book a few days ago and, let me tell you, I am still thinking about it and can't fight some frustration with the loose ends. I think she might have done it on purpose so you could read her Mayhem and Magic comic series, which follows Asa. All together, I am so happy that I had this reading experience and hopefully we find some questions answered in the comic series. Thank you Sarah!

Rating 2 Where to begin...??? i had such high hopes for this book as I really liked Reliquary and Splinter. I wanted to read more about Mattie and Asa. There was so much action and stuff going on that there was no “Mattie and Asa”. Three quarters through the book and all I wanted was the story to end, be done and over with. By this time, I really didn't care how. I think the author felt the same because end it did. It wasn't soon enough for me. I don’t need a happy ending; but I do need closure.

1) whilst it's hard to dislike Asa and Mattie, it's important not to forget that they are essentially drug (magic) dealers, causing many fictional deaths, from the people in the club at the start of the book being shot at, to the people buying their magic and getting hooked (from them directly or from the drug lords they supply to). It's rather selfish that Mattie wants to join the Headsmen at the end not to use her talent to help, but only to take her mind off things. Was she, and were we, really meant to sympathize with Volodya?!
2) I had hoped that Mattie would take the lead in this book but she just bounces around following others (Asa, then Theresa, then the Russians, then the Headsmen etc), whilst making out as if she is in the lead. It was disappointing that Asa had to save her in the end, but unsurprising given the rest of the book.
3) If Asa really loved her, he wouldn't have left her in the way that he did.
4) I have a very strong suspicion that there will be another book so don't worry.
4.0 out of 5 starsIf you want a book with a happy ending, then this isn't for you

If you want a book with a happy ending, then this isn't for you. I know the author said that this isn't the "ending", but I feel like it will be some time before we get a continuation from the series. I absolutely love these books, I reread and listen to them all the time, with the exception of the 3rd book. Love the romance between Mattie and Asa.
EDIT: After reading some comments the author has left on several Facebook community posts on her page, she's declared that this IS the last book of the series. Don't make the mistake of breaking your heart if you want a happy ending. Don't know what pains me more, the fact there'll be no fourth book or this ending.
5.0 out of 5 starsIf you enjoyed the first two books you’ll enjoy this!

If you enjoyed the first two books you’ll enjoy this! Final book in the series - didn’t not go as I expected. I enjoyed the storyline and all the twists to it, but after all the romance and intimacy in the first two books I was mildly disappointed about the lack of it for most of this book. Having said that I couldn’t put the book down!
1.0 out of 5 starsDisappointing negativity, that leaves you feeling like you wasted your time reading the trilogy...

I agree with another reviewer, the book needed some light to counter the dark. Even opting for the ending the author did, some sort of confirmation that Mattie had found purpose in her life post the book events would have been good. Instead it leaves you with an ugly sense of pointlessness and all probability that Mattie would spend the rest of her days broken.....what a reward for her selfless acts. Really makes me wonder why anyone should ever bother.....but like all the negative drama that's out there, this seems to be what sells, so way to jump on the band wagon.

Sarah Fine has done it again. She created a truly magical world that I got pulled into. However I agree with other reviewers; I wish I hadn't read the last chapter and stopped just before! I understand why Sarah Fine ended the book the way she did, Asa not liking cages, but I need happy endings (it's why I read) and was so upset not to get it. BUT there is scope for another book....Will we get the happy ending?
