5.0 out of 5 starsWonderful Book- 11/10

I love this book so much, and it really goes into the subject of Grace. I was fortunate enough to get to talk to Bob Lenz in person before, and I had bought this book then, but it's good enough that I had to get a few extra copies to give away.
Bob Lenz is an excellent writer. He speaks in the language of the average, everyday person and with a humor that most people can relate to. He drives home the truth that salvation is not by works, but by the grace of God and he does it in ways that speak to your heart. With such genuine-ness and love, he reminds us that there is nothing that we have ever done that could stop God from loving us.
The author of this book is also a very inspirational speaker. His honesty and ability to relate to challenges teens face today made a difference in my son's life when he heard him speak at a conference in 2013.. He addresses sex, drugs, and other issues in a way that made my son want learn more about how he can abstain from ungodly behavior.
5.0 out of 5 starsLiving in the Reality of God's Grace

Gifted Christian communicator Bob Lenz makes the Gospel message resonate with a new generation of youth. Influenced by the writings of Chuck Swindoll, Philip Yancey, Brennan Manning, and Max Lucado, he has crafted a masterpiece on the doctrine of grace in a way that is relevant and clearly understandable. He translates textbook theology into everyday living.
In a remarkable and creative writing form Lenz mixes prose, poetry, stories, personal illustrations, and the scriptures to engage the reader. Bob entertains, (I laughed until I couldn't read through the tears) exhorts. Counsels, and challenges the reader to consider personally the amazing freedom and challenges of grace.
The format includes powerful side bars that become sign posts pointing out highlights of the journey ahead. Then they serve as snapshots at the end of the trip reminding the reader of significant highlights of an exciting experience. I found myself reflecting on one of these highlights. Bob writes regarding sharing the message of our faith: "We're not becoming their enemies because we are telling them the truth, but because of how we are telling them the truth."
This is bold dynamic writing with a message for today's generation and all those that follow

Back in 1957 I was teaching a Sunday School class of adults and Grace was the subject of interest. This writer porvides for us guidance for spiritual growth covering all of the Bible teachings on Grace. This book should be considered for use by small groups and for sermons from the pulpit. Sit back and read this book and grow in His Love and Grace
