The Cheese Lords was an entertaining trilogy. It may have taken place in the future but the industrial/political intrigue not only between different races but also between the human entities and factions are taking place in our time. I went through the novels quicklyand had a great time doing so.
This was a good change from the formulas of the first two books. Harry's situation was very different, giving us a different foundation to act from. The conflicts were larger, but not that "too-large-to-be-believed" sort.
My only real issue with this book was that it ended... sort of strangely. No spoilers, but I really don't feel like everything got resolved. Makes me hope there will be a fourth book to really wrap things up.
Even so, I'll probably come back and enjoy these books again in the future. They're definitely a quick bit of fun!
