What can I say? The fifth book in the series begins with a bang and brings back all the characters from the series and it is packed with some serious modern day drama tackled from a biblical perspective. A page-turner filled with a female ''Judas'. What I really like about all the books in the series is that they do not shy away from the taboo subjects but dive head first to tear open what is usually kept behind closed doors. At the end, you feel the power of a redemptive God even while knowing no sin truly goes unpunished. LOVED it!
I really enjoyed I Can Do Better All By Myself. The book had a lot of excitment & drama. I especially like Page in the scene when she was being mislead by her so called bestfriend Tamara. She thought they were really close when the redlight was shown. Sleeping with her ex-husband. Some bestfriend. Tamara should have told her from the very beginning when she hooked them up. Maybe they would still be friends. Mother Doreen was playing hard to get with the old paster but that lady had faith & got her man!
I am hooked on anything that E.N.Joy writes she is very detailed and the characters in her books are just life family. They have been around for a while but more and more secrets keep coming out with each book. Once you read one of her series you will definitely want to read more and more of her books.
