The story continues, and the repercussions of Zach King's actions in book #39 are beginning to hit home hard as an unknown enemy plots a vicious trap to hurt Zach through emotional pain rather then his death, by striking at those he loves. Nothing will stop Athena Borke taking her vengeance on the man she believes killed her brothers.
Another terrific entry into this series that sees Zach fighting a new enemy, one that'll hurt him more than any other before. Athena Borke's bodyguard makes for a tough adversary too.
The arrival of Shakespeare McNair, his wife and Zach's younger sister make for some light-hearted moments and also some heart-stopping events.
Again the Daviod Thompson provides the reader with a fast moving, and beautifully paced story that I found very difficult to put down once begun. The final confrontation is well executed and throws in a surprise or two that leaves me wanting more.
