As we pick up from the last book, we see the Reed's trying desperately to bring some sense of normality back to their lives. But werewolves simply aren't enough, David Reed now has to contend with some extremely vengeful vampires, hell bent on his destruction. Only this time, there is no more "normal".
I'm really enjoying all the "edge of your seat" stuff in the all new Green Lake series from CDM. I believe this series of novellas is evolving into something to eqaul the fabulously dark, Angel Hill stories. The latest instalment, The Vampires Of Green Lake picks up directly where the first book, The Werewolves Of Green Lake left off. So to get the full scope, I would read Werewolves first, as one misadventure merges into the next. I found the ending of this story to be particularly brutal, and the author has stated that he found it to be a very hard thing to write.
I always recommend C. Dennis Moore. And I recommend these stories to anyone who loves monsters or whatever's coming next. Don't leave it to long please Mr. Moore.
