Where's the Bella that we used to know? Seriously this woman wasn't it. The best thing about this book was Lianne and the revenge.
The worst... Rafe. Rafe was a stereotypical Hot Latin Lover all the way down to his random Spanish to his merengue. Yeah. No. Rafe was controlling. Condescending. And pushy. Not good combos.
He lost me when he didn't take Bella to the doctor after she'd been roofied. I don't care if she asks you not to... When someone is incoherent unable to walk unaided and stumbles out of a frat house in the morning covered in graffiti you take them to an er. It was unconscionable.
The treatment of asexuality was poorly done. As was Bella's reaction to her assault.
Frankly I'm disappointed because the series had been so strong... Oh and Corey the lead from the first book... Walking unaided... Those braces are a magical cure and so we've got disability erasure on top of this.
Just skip this...
I dearly hope liannes book was better... She was the one bright spot in this train wreck. And I've already bought the other book... If I could get my money back I would.
