Another good story in the series! Bill and Jane, who once escaped the alien slavers have control of their own "Collector" ship along with it's AI. So, after enlisting the help of Bill's fellow Seals and a number of special forces, its time to fight a fleet of six huge collector ships that have come to ravage Earth.
No spoilers here, but this is an exciting military romp.

Positives- great, well described tech, cool aliens and fine interactions between characters

Negatives- some glitchy narratives (which I believe is this author's style) and a LOT of violence

All in all, a great read!

This is a wonderful read that takes a grain of real modern science and projects it out to some creative and inventive situations and conclusions. The human stories are warm and meaningful but I love reading about physics-on-steroids and the realistic possibilities that future generations may create. Fun stuff.

Usually the second book is not as good as the first book, but this one was. Great story with characters that you can relate to. He skipped some areas that I wished he could expanded on. One is at the end of the first book and the start of the second book. Great read and I hope book three will be out soon.

I've actually all three books in the series so far. I loved them. I don't write to many reviews but this series so far deserves the 5 star rating. I really look forward to the next in the series and hope it does not fall into the trap of a lot of the other series books, spending half the book recapping the first three. But once get started on these books get ready for a ride it's very hard to put down.
