I bought this book along with the book the author co-wrote with her husband, Benjamin Zander, The Art of Possibility. The first book was engaging from the start; I read it almost all the way through in one day. This one doesn't have that same appeal. Mostly feels like a typical new age, self-help book.
A story of stories on how to live a life that one desires. A perfect sequel to The Art of Possibility. It is a practical guide of the process to transform real life to the one that is imagined. The exercises and practices found on the pages of this book allow the reader to become his/her own teacher. If you are on a path of growth, read this book.
I'm enjoying this book immensely. Since I am great fan of her book, The Art Of Possibility, I was sure that this one would be full of wisdom as well as thought provoking information. It does not disappoint!
If your mental wiring lines up - i.e. your experiences and responses - this is a very powerful method to support change. Worth reading and ruminating over. If you want to read more about understanding parts of your personality, see Richard Schwartz.
Pathways to Possibility is a must read to gain a keen understanding of how life works. There wasn't a single dull moment. I savored every chapter, comparison, and lesson. Rosamund Zander dives into the deep space of spirituality flawlessly.
Profound and probing in ways that have the potential for the possibility of a new path in ones life. We are all stuck in life by the stories we tell ourselves. Stories that most often are immature, stem from a trauma in our past that we could not navigate, and are ill suited to navigate as a free agent in an adult world - no matter our age.
Rosamund is brilliant at surfacing these underlying stories and providing tools and strategies to set aside these stories and rewrite them in our adult voice as our magnum opus. Freed to a new path and life of possibility.
