A very well written novel. Here is a woman who is trying to prove her innocence and she steps into one mess after another. You just could not stop reading this book. When you think all is lost you get a surprise ending. It's a suspenseful book and I found myself totally engrossed with this mystery novel. I look forward to reading Jaime Raven's next novel. I am happy I purchased this book.
I really enjoyed this book. It was from the start to the finish. It was one that you didn't know what was going to happen on the next page. I hop you enjoy it as much as I did. A big thumbs up for this book.

Gripping, fast pace book. This is such a turn reader that it is hard to put it down. Good length enabled the story to stay interesting and suspenseful and not drag on like so many other books do. Loved the modern characters and felt I really knew their story.

Love this genre of book (Martina Cole, June Hampson etc). The Madam was an was an easy read but the story line was implausible and not that well written. What do I mean by that ? Well remember writing school essays where you would write this happened then that happened without any great depth or description. I found The Madam bordered on that kind of unsophisticated literature and didn't feel like it was the work of a professional author. This story had great potential but the author took it too far to the point of being ridiculous.
Wow what an amazing read from a very talented author, I can't wait to read more from this author and from the first page I couldn't put this book down, with every turn of the page it just gets better and better... I'm pretty sure I'm going to be reading the next book called Alibi from this author..
I have really enjoyed reading this book with all the interaction with the characters and suspense involved and the storyline covers the twists that happen and I would recommend the reading of this to anyone.
3.0 out of 5 starsOK IF YOU HAVE NOTHING BETTER TO READ

Despite the hype that if you are a fan of Martina Cole you would love this book I found it very mediocre. The story ambles along with nothing to make it stand out. The way the lead character carries on is ridiculous. Getting herself into situations that you can see coming a mile off and the ending was what you would predict it would be half way through the book. It was a story and I read it but it is not one that will stay with me to me it was verging on boring.
