This is a pretty good story that I suppose you could say is about zombies.

So the story starts with a retired man, George, working in his garden. We learn about his life and how he raised a family and supported them by digging in the dirt. He hates the dirt, which makes me wonder if he hates dirt so much why does he have a garden? The character of George is interesting and he is likeable.
He is bitten by some spiders and they turn him into a zombie and his wife, Betsy, finds him outside and tries to bring him inside thinking he is sick. Only she ends up with the spiders all over her and she succumbs to their poison as well.

It's a good story, but it has a few problems. For example, when George is working in his garden and he finds a buried skeleton there, he has almost no reaction to it. It's almost as if he is watching himself rather than being there having this happen to him and reacting to his situation. My only other complaints about this story are 2 minor things. At one point he says that digging in the dirt put a "house" over his family's heads. That should really be changed to "roof." Also when Betsy is being held in George's arms it says she "titled her head," this should really be "tilted her head."
These are just minor complaints and they don't really take away from the overall story which is a man and a woman remembering their lives together over the years as they are experiencing their last day on Earth. It's a good story and worth reading. Check it out!
