I just finished Demand and I am just speechless. Trying to wrap my head around all the twists and turns and intertwining from the other series.
Kayden is making me re-think my book boyfriend rankings. But there is something about him I can’t put my finger on. I was screaming at the end of the book, “Oh NO she didn’t” and now I have to wait until December to find out what happens. I tried to explain the pain to my husband and he just shook his head.
Lisa has done it again providing us with a book that is powerful, passionate, suspenseful, frightening, complex and spell binding.
I love Kayden and Ella's story. They seem to work well together. Kayden has deep feelings for Ella and a strong need to protect her. Ella has feelings for Kayden and wants to protect him and at times she thinks that is by removing herself. She must trust her instinct because she still can't remember everything. The story twists and turns and melds into one that I couldn't put down. I was questioning each of the characters, their motives, their passion and I still have the goosebumps about things that happened in the castle.
This book has amazing complex characters that are developed further. Each person in the book is playing a key role and isn't just thorn in to fill space. Lisa's writing style is intense not only in the nature of the story line but with the sex scenes too.
Lisa has left me in a tailspin. This cliff hanger is warping my brain. Amazing. Counting the days to December.
