This story was the first that I've read by Constance Barker and I'm not sure if I want to read any others. I was confused on the plot and it seemed like I needed a primer for the first few chapters just to figure out what was happening.
This is a comfortable book to read. In fact the whole series is 'comfortable'. A beautiful ending with lots of love from the entire community. Life should be so good!

Just and ok read, not bad but not great. Good if you have nothing else to do and want an easy read. It is very predictable and I don't feel the characters are as well rounded as the could be. A little more work and perhaps the author could become a more interesting writer with more developed characters.
5.0 out of 5 stars" A Great Series and the Third One I've Listened To"

I listened to the Audible audio version of this book.
PEPPERMINT PANDEMONIUM is another cute cozy in the Sweet Home series. I really like these mysteries. The characters are fun and even funny. This one takes place before Christmas but it's good anytime. Eli is a funny character. I also liked the "gypsies." CONSTANCE BARKER does a nice job writing these stories. It makes me wish I had a fireplace to snuggle up near while I listen.
ANGEL CLARK does another great job narrating these cozies. She has an amazing way of differentiating the character's voices. And there's many good characters. She's a great reader and I look forward to more in this series.
