I really enjoyed this series. This, the latest and apparently, the last book is not quite up to par with a couple of things. Most all of the characters and the pacing are right up there with the rest of the series. My biggest issue was with the serial killer "Bonebreaker" in this book. Dietz paints him in the other books as patient, methodical and VERY careful. For these reasons, the ending of the book seemed contrived. It felt rushed and the final actions of Bonebreaker felt more like the actions of a petty criminal rather that the methodical serial killer that Dietz had created and built in the previous books. It felt like Dietz just wanted to end the book and the series.
