5.0 out of 5 starsEnjoyed the book and a great resource regarding business strategy

Customer-centricity and transformation are at the heart of this book. The author provides a storyline full of details and insights to show how a company was able to pivot successfully and attract millions in recurring revenue. Too many business books focus on the same handful companies e.g. Amazon, Google, Facebook, so it was refreshing to read about a small business success story. Enjoyed the book and a great resource regarding business strategy.
5.0 out of 5 starsReal World Results from Real Business

Real results from real business. A refreshing insight on how a real company overcame challenges, made adjustments and ultimately succeeded in a highly competitive niche. If you're tired of hype-filled stories about multi-billion dollar international deals that seem out of reach (and out of touch) for most small business owners; and want a "to the point" real world example that is attainable by most small business owners, this book is for you. A ton of value for the price of a cup of coffee. Well done!

5.0 out of 5 starsGreat case study of transformation from mfg to IoT/SAAS
Reviewed in Canada on February 6, 2019
I had come across this book while reading IoT Inc and thought it would be a good follow-up. It definitely was. It provides a helpful real-life case study of moving from traditional manufacturing to an IoT/SAAS company. In most books you only get short case studies with many important details left out. Christian covers all the bases at a high-level providing a really great reference of how one could pull it off such a transformation themselves. On top of that it's a relatively quick read for people short on time. Thanks Christian.
