I enjoy books that challenge me to see a particular subject differently than I did before. It's always refreshing to see another persons perspective and read about their life experiences that I can apply to my own life. Jeff captures his journey to find the right morning routine perfectly in his book "Wake Up". After I read his book front to back I felt like I had woken up! It really did change my life!
I'm someone who considers themselves a night owl like Jeff and a creatively driven individual that likes to switch up my routine to get the most out of my day and keep my life from becoming too mundane.This book has phenomenal tips and tricks on how to do just that! I've tried a handful of Jeff's suggestions in the book for ways turn off my brain before going to bed and ways that I can prepare for the morning that motivate me to get up and get going!
Not only does he talk about creating a morning routine that works for you but he also addresses creating new habits and how our habits affect us daily. He talks through his struggles and is very transparent which I appreciate because that resonates with me and I can relate to so many of his experiences.
I also appreciate all of the book, apps and podcast recommends at the end of the book. Eventually I'll get around to checking out all of his recommends!
