I love this book, Matthew and Vivian, the distance can't stop destiny, even if the differences are a lot everything is possible, and this story has helped me a lot to understand the man I love, his struggles and difficulties in talking with me, how to help him to work his heart and mind through the hell he is in every single day in Syria.. Thanks for the soft touch used to write this amazing book...
Can't put it into words but this is one of the most romantic love story I have ever read. The format used (military/letters/emails) made the story very realistically alive. Did not see the twist coming towards the HEA ending. Thank you for your service and for putting this story to paper. Can't wait to reread it again.

Outstanding love story. I didn't see the small twist near the end but it was great. My only small criticism (and this is nothing against the book) is that it got a tad long at the end but it's only because I wanted so badly to see what was going to happen.
I loved how the story developed through the correspondence and I found it very believable from how easy some things were to the hard questions and overreactions. Things like that naturally happen through written word when you can't see the other person's face and reactions.

I really enjoyed this book and could not put it down. The author has written an original soldier romance. The story is told via alternating letters and emails between Vivian, a civilian defense contractor and Matthew, an Army Ranger stationed in Afghanistan. Over the course of a year or so, Vivian and Matthew become friends, fall in love, and hide secrets, against the backdrop of the war in Afghanistan. While initially strangers, their lives intersect at key moments, letting the reader wonder whether fate allows for coincidences. Look forward to reading more from this author.

I love the letters and email format. It was sweet to see the these to fall for each other. I was pulled in by witty banter and flirting. It definitely lacked the heat in use to in most of my books but the great writing and awesome characters kept me wanting more! I loved it
This book was amazing. The beginning was a little slow to catch my attention and also it felt a little goofy and unbelievably. But when it got to a certain point I fell in love with the story. Matthew was hardheaded and Vivian was exactly who he needed. I cried a lot during the end. When a book makes me have strong emotions, then that's a well written book for me. If it lacks for you in the beginning, please don't give up.
I really enjoyed this book, it was different from other romances I have read. The story switches back and forth between Matthew and Vivian and I loved their banter. I found myself immersed in their story and was sad when I reached the end.

I really enjoyed Vivian and Matthew's story. I loved how playful and times they were in their letters and also they got real and serious. The book took it's time and it unfolded beautifully It was sooo good! I want more!
