If you bothered to read the reviews you found they range from a 1* to 5***** with comments from love it to hate it. I fall someplace between but more to the 5 star rating; I gave it a 4. It really didn’t seem as bad to me as the most negative folks indicated. And of course it wasn’t a Christie or Sherlock Holmes, even though I do think the supporting character, Zander, is more fun than Dr. Watson.
This is supposed to be a light hearted read and it is just that. It kept me interested throughout but I must admit, this was a book I could put down to get my work done and/or go to bed. (Some books keep me reading long after good sense dictates it’s time for a break. This isn’t one of them.) However, this is a VERY GOOD BOOK for what it is meant to be and I RECOMMEND it to all. BUY IT, READ IT AND WRITE A HONEST REVIEW. Readers have no idea how important a review is to those of us who sell on Kindle Books.
The big negative I have or this one is, I think the ghost could have played a much bigger role--maybe it could have made things move to distract the killer. It needed to do something more.
