So I'm laying in bed on Halloween morning and look what pops up in my kindle!
What a perfect way to start the holiday. I won't give too much away since it's a short story other than to say: mummies.
This falls more in to the Garaaga style story Cooley has played around with. In other words, plenty of history/mythos mixed in with the horror. Honestly my only complaint is that he has not extended this idea into a full loength novel yet. The short stories are great (keep them coming!) but every great set up appetizers eventually needs a main course . . . and some beer . . . maybe a nice cheese plate and some creme brulee for dessert, but I digress.
Anyway, great little read.
