I've really been surprised by how much I have related to this series. The 1st book featuring the Aries couple really hit the nail on the head about one of my kids. Even the Husband picked up on it. With this book it's my own history. My sister was killed by drunk driver that crossed the centerline and took out her whole side of the car. Thank you. ~P~
Tempting Signs book two, Taurus. Forever Devoted is a wonderful story about two people who have known each other just about all their lives and always loved each other but never told each other how they felt. It takes a bad decision and a horrible accident for them to come to terms with their feelings and finally admit it to each other. It is a very touching story, a best friends to lovers trope.
Robbie and Gray became friends when they both needed someone to count on, both from abusive families they became the only family that mattered. Robbie breaks up with her boyfriend because he thinks there is something more between Robbie and Gray than just friendship. It's true to a certain extent she has always been in love with Gray but scared to say anything about because he won't feel the same, she couldn't be more wrong. It was love at first sight for Gray and when Robbie chose to get in the car drunk of her ass with some guy she met at the bar also three sheets to the wind and gets in a horrible accident and ends up in a coma and when she finally wakes up she can't remember what happened and the doctors are uncertain if she will ever walk again. Gray steps up and takes charge of her recovery and all her needs finally ready to open up to her about his love. But Robbie is tired of being taken care of and is scared of what needing Gray as much as she does will do to their friendship.
It's a good quick read and very satisfying romance.
Robbie Jacobs is fighting to win back her body and a chance at love and Gray Smythe is sure he knows what's right and wrong in this heart warming contemporary romance.
One mistake and suddenly Robbie is having to depend on Gray, her best friend who has suddenly become the overprotective nurse and the reader can't help but get caught up in the heart wrenching emotions that flow from the pages as Robbie fights to get her life back all while trying to hold back her heart. The attraction between them is certainly strong enough and the love is there but Gray and Robbie have lots of emotional issues to overcome. The characters are strong, compelling and grab the reader's attention from the very beginning while the fast paced and smooth flowing plot captivates readers with emotional turmoil and romance.
The well written scenes and details bring the story to life and the reader feels all the emotions that the characters go through right along with them so be prepared for some tears, some laughter, some passion and of course cheers as couple work to reach their happily ever after.
4.0 out of 5 starsRobbie is rebuilding herself and her life after a car accident and leaning on her best friend and crush for support

Masterfully told. The characters are so raw and real. Robbie is rebuilding herself and her life after a car accident and leaning on her best friend and crush for support. Gray is fighting for the woman who means the world to him and thankful that he hasn't lost her or the chance to turn their relationship up a notch. The details of the car accident and recovery are so spot on that I wonder if the author is speaking from personal experience or just really really good at researching her stuff. The love scenes are brief, but hot and intense. My only gripe is with the formatting of the Kindle book. Paragraphs are weirdly separated and there are random numbers that were probably page numbers in a Word document scattered throughtout the book. The funky formatting made the story a little hard to follow and hopefully the author will (or has already) taken care of this. A great quick read.

This is a wonderful friends to lovers story. Robbie & Gray became best friends as kids and formed their own little pack. Now years later they are still best friends with a massive crush on each other that neither knows of or is willing to risk their friendship over. That is until Robbie is nearly killed in a car accident and Gray takes over her care forcing them closer and further apart. It is so much fun watching these two circle around each other and if Robbie doesn’t want Gray I do. These two Taurus are as bull headed as their sign. Forever Devoted is a quick fantastic read.
This book made me cry big, happy, sloppy, ugly tears. Virginia Nelson is a master of telling stories that touch my heart and I am so glad to have read this one. Her heroine makes a bad decision--well a couple of them--and the hero loves her through it all. This feels like real love people, not the stuff of fiction. The kind of story you'd talk about at Starbucks and be in awe of the way they love each other. Bravo Ms. Nelson. More like this!
