I don't normally do reviews but this book is so bad I have to say something. First let me state that I am an avid reader of Sherlock Holmes, both the works by Doyle and many of the "pistaches". Most are excellent -particularly the numerous books from Titan Books. This book however is absolutely terrible. I'm not sure if any editing was done because grammatical and syntax errors abound. This pales in comparison to the poor plot development. Several are obviously based on other Holmes stories but if you did not know that, you would never be able to follow what's going on in the story because this author has so many holes in the plot line. At best this is a first draft of a book that needs serious editing and development before it can be called a finished product . Save your money, this book is an insult to literature.
This book was an interesting experience for me. I enjoy Sherlock Holmes and the stories were entertaining. However, it seemed they ended rather abruptly at times. Still in all, I wasn't sorry I bought it as it allowed me to become reacquainted with Sherlock once again.
