This is the third book in this series. Here you get to see the bad guy get his chance at redemption. He was raised by a mafia father who thought nothing of doing bodily injury to those who have insulted him. Now his son is the one to get another chance at redemption and find true love. She has had only one thing on her mind since childhood. To be the best pediatric doctor ever. Her dedication and commitment has kept her from ever having any relationship between men. One day he rescues her and then both lives are forever changed.

This story was refreshing. The h and H were engaging. The composites of their characters were revealed in perfect timing like the strategic courses of a meal. The honesty and openness of the h and H was shocking compared to other Harlequin books. They didn't need the deception, lies, and false accusations to create tension and drama of falling in love. Their life experiences and the way they ordered their lives, their safety shells were the obstacles to overcome. They formed a protagonist partnership, fighting against their personal baggage that tried to keep them locked in their ruts and away from their life changing love affair.
I loved that the H was a truly strong man who was secure enough to be open about his thoughts and feelings and man enough to respect a strong woman. He didn't try to manipulate the h or brow beat her into her place. He was strong so her strength was valued and supported. I loved that the h was strong enough to be vulnerable. She willingly faced her faults and humbly sought growth. She was honest about her short falls and lauded the H for his strengths and the way he enhanced her life. Great book.
I AGREE WITH ALL THE REVIEWS WRITTEN. FRANCESCO WAS AN AMAZING, INTELLIGENT, BEAUTIFUL, TAKE-CHARGE KIND OF MAN AND HANNAH WAS FOR ONCE A WELL WRITTEN FEMALE WHO KNEW HER OWN MIND AND KNEW WHAT SHE WANTED AND HOW TO GET IT. IT WAS THE MOST BEAUTIFUL LOVE STORY I HAVE READ IN A LONG TIME. ONCE YOU PICK THE BOOK UP YOU CAN'T PUT IT DOWN BECAUSE YOU HAVE TO KNOW WHAT COMES NEXT. ALL 3 BOOKS IN THE SERIES WERE GOOD BUT I LIKED THIS ONE BEST I THINK BECAUSE IT REMINDED ME OF SICILY AND THE CRIME FAMILIES AND THE GODFATHER AND AL PACINO AND ALL OF THAT. I HOPE MICHELLE SMART WRITES MORE OF THESE BECAUSE THEY ARE BEAUTIFULLY WRITTEN AND BELIEVABLE. SOMETIMES IN THESE BOOKS YOU GET SO MAD AT THE CHARACTERS BECAUSE YOU KNOW AS A READER WHAT THEY SHOULD DO I.E. NOT BELIEVING WHAT THEY HEAR UNTIL THEY PROVE IT FOR THEMSELVES.

This was amazing! Hot alpha hero. An intelligent heroine that is witty and totally charming in her naivete. Hannah was a breath of fresh air in Francisco's life. You really see the two characters grow. You see the changes in them. No long winded misunderstanding or revenge. No massive age gap. No dim witted heroine acting like a doormat. No jerk of a hero! Yeay...FINALLY! LOVED EVERY MOMENT.

Harlequin Presents has been a ongoing reading love affair for me. Over the years I've had my favorites and favorite authors. I enjoy the way the characters interact one on one and of course the HEA. This story, Taming the Notorious Sicilian, went beyond my expectations. Even better since I hadn't picked up a Harlequin Presents for over a year.
The romance is spot on, the situation well done, the characters excellent. I fell in love with the romance and I'm so glad I read this story. It's going to stay in my re-read pile, I was that impressed. Thank you Michelle Smart for a wonderful well written story. Now to see what else is out there by this author. !! - Dan's Wife
I really enjoyed this finale to the series. It made me go back and re-read the first two, and I appreciated them more.
The author has given us two characters we get to know fully, and both are richly detailed and interesting. As unlikely as it seems, you can see how they grow to respect and love each other.
The writing is crisp, and she works a great plot into only a few pages. You hold your breath until the final scene to see how they end up. Characters from the previous two books appear, but are not intrusive.
I read this book first in the series and I loved it. I think the author did a good job of giving us glimpses of a wonderful guy hidden behind the H's tough, unfeeling persona. I was hooked and I loved the terribly straight and virtuous doctor h. I don't think the H stood a chance once the h set her sights on him. It was a great read with the usual misunderstanding thrown in but this an HP after all.
I'm off to download the other 2 books in this series

A good read and a perfect end to the series. Hannah and Francesco met at the scene of an accident. Hannah was a dedicated doctor and Francesco a Sicilian with a dubious reputation, under normal circumstances their paths would never have crossed, but when he saw the accident that knocked her off her bike Francesco, took charge at the roadside and ensured that she got to hospital. Once she’d recovered Hannah wanted to thank Francesco for all that he did but it was not easy to get through his security, however when she went to his nightclub and asked to speak to him, she was given 5 min to say what she wanted. That meeting was the first step in their relationship. Both of them were emotionally compromised by family traumas which had affected how they lived their lives. Neither of them wanted the distraction of a lasting relationship, but one night would be ok, or perhaps not. Both of them were likeable, well once you understood a bit more about Francesco’s past, it was obvious he had made big changes in his business and private life. I enjoyed reading about their journey.

Michelle Smart, I don't recall reading her before, but can guarantee reading her again. This is a series of 3 books, After reading about book 1, I looked up 2 & 3, bought them, and now I've read them, fantastic. 3 volatile Sicilian men, with a past that's scary. Each one slowly changing when they met a woman and fell in love. So well written, dam good storyline, characters to care for, if this appeals even a little, look up Michelle and the series then you too will buy and read all 3, back to back is best, fantastic. For the library now, for reading again later, for definite Sue P
Oh WOWWWW!! What a sizzling book! My first book from Michelle Smart and I am hooked.
Michelle has mastered the art of creating a perfect balance between the POV of both the H and the h and together they make fireworks. Her hero is a strong and VERY male. Despite this Michelle has managed to give him a vulnerability which makes him extremely endearing. This was one of the first M&B books where the hero opens his feelings before the Heroine makes a move and I loved it! Fab plot, great scenery and lots of emotion. Michelle's descriptions makes everything seem extremely vivid and colourful.
Definitely hooked line and sinker for me - I've already bought my second Michelle Smart romance which happens to be part of this series.
The some of characters appear in books of their own and dislike each other. He is a gangster with a lot of baggage. She is a doctor he mets, after a hit and run accident. She throws herself at him, he tries to put her off as he considers himself too world wise to her innocence.
