I am nine years old and I like this book because of the super cute drawings, which I like a lot, the cats’ mouth is so funny on its side like that and sooooo cute and the rhyming is super fun to read. Out of the whole series that I’ve read so far, this is the only tale that I haven’t seen or heard about before and is totally new to me.
It’s about a cat that gets the mouse to trust him but in the end the cat wasn’t really the friend the mouse thought he was. Even though the mouse was good and helpful, like cleaning the house. The cat was super bad eating the food that they were going to share together by tricking the mouse. The mouse found out and the cat chased the mouse trying to eat it. That really surprised me and reminded me of what happened with my cat Fluffy betraying my dog, Pixie. But then again Pixie eats Fluffy cookies and not the dog cookies. =(
Anyway, it taught me that some people can’t be trusted and that if someone trusts you, you shouldn’t do mean things to them. Like the cat did to the mouse. I like this tale a lot and so did my little brother and we both would not want to be the mouse, or the cat ever but we would read this book over and over again for sure. (=^･^=)
