I ordered this book because my husband and I dream of retiring to a boat and sailing off into the sunset; I want to be sure we don't bring anything on board or do something that may jeopardize our voyage.
Ok I'm not really that superstitious but it couldn't hurt to have this book to look to.
It is very entertaining to read what different societies and different generations felt would bring good or bad luck on the sea. Our whole family sat together and read from it. We all enjoyed it immensely!
