I bought this entire series at once. And regret it. I read the first book and loved it, but then.....if you've read one, you've read them all. The men are almost indistinguishable from book to book. The sex scenes are the same. The type and level of BDSM doesn't vary. They are all into the same exact thing. Even some of the dialogue is the same. After the women are first introduced to MMA, they all say "Cage. Got it." Not worth reading the entire series. Just reread the first one and you'll be good.
I liked the book just like the rest of the series. However, it is a difference between like and LOVE.
The characters were good and I loved the banter. I liked the snippets of characters from previous books and would have liked to see more of them. There were parts in Want that just didn't make sense or were "fuzzy" to me. I find it funny that a story about a woman who is a freelance content editor was in need of some itself. It felt rushed and unfinished, not what I am used to from this author.
Overall the book was good, but I feel a little let down by the story. 😞
Sabrina and Conner are a passionate as possible about BDSM but he is her teacher when she decided to go back to school. Someone is trying to drive them apart but they are strong enough to stick together through it all. The entire Fight club series is about MMA fighters who rule the BDSM world as well. While this one sticks with that theme, it is more than that. Becca did a really good job of setting it apart from the rest of the series while still staying within the theme. Overall, a great story!
I have enjoyed most of this series. The first book was good, the second not so much, but the third and fourth were fantastic. So I had high hopes for this installment. However, I was very disappointed. The plot was unrealistic from the jump, in my opinion, and progressed too quickly for believability. The sex scenes were amateurish, and considering how well written Jameson's last two books in this series were, this was strange. With one last member of "The Fight Club" to go to complete the series, I'm not sure I'm interested.
Such an awesome series. One that is honest and accurate with the BDSM areas but so smoking hot and well written that it makes a truly good read all the way through. I do not think that combination is an easy achievement for a writer. I could not read these books fast enough. I didn't even want to go to sleep because it meant time away from the series.
This is a great continuation of Becca Jameson's Fight Club series. I was a bit skeptical at first regarding how she would make the Professor's story as good as the others but she managed to to do it with action, suspense, and lots of steamy sex scenes. Conner is a hot alpha male and Sabrina definitely gives him a run for his money. GREAT BOOK.
This well written and edited book is a great addition to this series. There is a lot of action that keeps the storyline moving forward nicely. The characters are well developed. Loved the audio option!
I love the story it's different from her other books that I have read so far. It still has the spice it in. Both the Sabrina and the professor are strong minded people. They say what they feel. They compliment each other.
