I thoroughly enjoyed this story, and am looking forward to the rest of the series coming soon. The characters are wonderful, and the romance just beautiful! The fantasy setting was so compelling and descriptive, and I could picture the scenes described very easily in my mind. This ended on a cliffhanger, with the next book coming in June 2015. I can't wait! Though I don't usually read this genre, I need to finish this series for sure!

this was a great start to what looks to be an epic fantasy novel. I loved getting to know Eli, and Alaris. It didn't take me long to fall in love with the tri-realms either. This was a story that caught me up quickly with enough action and adventure for the hardiest of action adventure fans, romance for romance fans, and worlds building and intrigue for fantasy fans. My only downside was I wasn't ready for it to end when it did.

Finding Alaris caught my attention from the very beginning. The book moved all the way through. I would tell myself I will stop reading after this chapter but I pretty much read it all in one sitting and was sad when it ended(at least until book 2 comes out). I will eagerly be awaiting the next installment! This book is a little romance, a lot fantasy and suspense. All the things that make for a great read!!

Happiness is what I felt as I was reading this. It is so good that I was sad to see it end, but excited that there is more to come. The bond and love between Eliaphus and Alaris is amazing and beautiful to watch. I can't wait to continue this journey with these characters, I know it is going to be great.
