New Amish Beginnings is another wonderful book by Becca Fisher. I try to get all of her books because she tells about the Amish so you can feel like you are a part of the story. I highly recommend this book.
Sadie had grown up in Pinecraft, Florida, they had a church, shuffleboard a daily game, and riding bicycles instead of buggies. The locals had the run of the place for 8 months. Her families had a string of rental cabins, which she helped with. Sadie wondering if love would come, or were they just. infatuation , Dating a tourist has her parents on edge, for he would probably be going back to his home, leaving her heart broken. Benjamin conversation flowed, spending time together after work each evening. After several months she shows him her special place that she kept secret. Being late to meet her the next time she is anxious, until he showed her the bag and the reason he was late. Good story of never giving up for love to come. Audible by Carrie Lee Martz was good.
New Amish Beginnings is a sweet romance about starting over and finding love. The story is short, simple, and quiet. Perhaps more interesting is this peak into a different way of life where even the simple luxury of phones are not allowed.
The reader of the audiobook has a pleasant voice, but her narration is a bit dull.
I received a complimentary copy of this audiobook. This is my honest and voluntary review.
